Good morning, Friends! What in the world do you do with all of your old and outdated picture frames? Donate them? You could! What if I showed you the possibility of re-vamping them so that they'll fit your space and color scheme? Here's a quick and easy before of some old frames that I had lying around. Whatcha got at your house? Do you have any that match mine? ;)
In under an hour I had all of these frames painted and dry brushed with Country Chic Trigger metallic cream. Can you believe the difference? Yep! Paint did that!
Here are a few more close up shots so you can see all of the details...

Those frames are beautiful. I love different shades of blue you painted them. You have inspired me to look around and see where I can add a gallery wall! I am pinning this to my crafts board. We miss you at the Celebrate Your Story! link party. Here is this week's link if you want to come and join us again! http://celebrateanddecorate.com/celebrate-story-32/
ReplyDeleteThank you, Chloe! Inspiration is the sincerest form of flattery. :) I have a few projects coming up this week so I'll be linking up soon!
DeleteHi, do you offer directions on how to distress the frames and the products you used? They are beautiful!!!
ReplyDeleteHi Kristina! I used a variety of different paint colors and brands. But, I did dry brush Country Chic Paint's Belt Buckle metallic cream over most of them. You can really see it over the blush pink frame. On other frames I distressed as I painted which means I purposely didn't paint in certain areas or painted lighter in areas so that it looked worn or aged without even having to go back over and use sand paper or a wet cloth. I hope that makes sense and answered your question!
